Reimbursement/Billing Frequently Asked Questions
The following questions represent some of the most common questions
we receive. The answers below are a guide and are not intended to
replace the need to consult a professional nurse or pharmacist. Please
call 1-800-755-4704 to speak with a nurse or pharmacist 24 hours
per day, 7 days per week.
Q. Do I have any financial
responsibility for Chartwell services?
A. Financial responsibility is based on the type
of insurance coverage you have. Prior to the start of therapy,
a Chartwell Insurance Verification Coordinator discussed any potential
financial responsibility and payment options with you. If you have
any questions regarding financial responsibility, please contact
your team Insurance Verification Coordinator.
Q. I received a bill from Chartwell
and have questions, who do I speak to?
A. Please call our billing office at 1-800-316-9941.
The options menu will direct you to the appropriate billing representative.
Q. Is my insurance paying for Chartwell
services?
A. A Chartwell Insurance Verification Coordinator
spoke with you prior to starting services to discuss how your insurance
will pay for your therapy. Please contact your Insurance Verification
Coordinator if you have any further questions.
Q. What is this financial responsibility
form that I am required to sign?
A. Chartwell's financial responsibility acknowledgement
form reflects the information we received from your insurance plan
regarding covered benefits. We also list an estimate of the cost
of our services and your estimated out of pocket expenses. Signing
the acknowledgement letter shows that you understand how our services
will be paid for and that you understand your financial responsibility
to Chartwell.
